About the Cause
In 2007, professional baseball player Johnny Damon established The Johnny Damon Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)3, to raise and donate funds to charitable organizations. The Foundation provides financial resources to veteran, animal and humanitarian efforts, as well as assists local and national programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for disadvantaged children at risk.
As a member of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition, The Johnny Damon Foundation works with donors and sponsors to give children a chance to get out and be active.
